Hello,
Got another opportunity to volunteer at the U.S.S. Hornet. It was a smaller group this time (all ladies + Chad). I got to meet a few people from Alameda Paranormal Researchers who will also be volunteering. I had a great group! They were pretty quiet. If they spoke 99.9% of the time they didn't whisper. It helps when it's all female because then you can clearly tell the difference between spirit and human because most of the evps from the ship are male voices.
We started out in the ready room. It was pretty cold on the ship. Although, you'd never know it by looking at Chad (who had a short sleeved shirt on). Those Marines are always showing off!. We were in this room for 50 minutes. I had 2 recorders going, one right next to Chad in the front of the room and one with me in the back.
Chad is trying to get the steward to let us know he's there and he responds OK. There aren't the best quality but you can definitely hear someone is talking. Someone said they were a skeptic and right at the end a voice says no No. Responses. I got over 100 separate evps. Alot of that you hear a male voice but due to the sounds on the ship you can't make out what they are saying.
This one is interesting because it sounds like he says Chad Chad. There's a loud thud so Heidi radios to see if anyone heard it and asked if we knew where it came from. There are some voices in between (even sounds like singing) and it's no one in the room. At the end sounds like he says 10 years Voices. A weird whistling Whistle. We decide to use the Ovilus X. It says nine and then again a whistling sound and at the end almost sounds like 2 there Voice.
The ovilus says best then news and a different male voice responds several times News. Ovilus says island, I repeat it and someone says not here. Then Chad says were on the island of Alameda and someone says they hurt. There are more responses, just not sure what they are saying Male Voice. So, we started getting some interesting responses from the Ovilus. It said jumped, party. Chad first says we'll go faster if you lets us know you're actually here. Spirit says "I am". Chad says are you going to tell me that someone jumped. It's hard to hear but it says, "I want to communicate with you more". Chad asks if someone jumped at a party and a male voices whispers "communicate yes". Male Voice. Then Chad said, are you talking about Captain Browning (who was fired from the Hornet in 1944 due to a mishap on the ship)? There was a film being shown and someone activated a CO2 canister and there was a stampede. In the chaos, 2 fell overboard (one drowned). Captain Browning was held responsible. After he asks that, it's a faint response but sounds like he says "somebody killed". Then the ovilus says contrition and Chad repeats it and the spirit says "yes, contrition" Responses. It sounds like he says thank God after Chad says Captain Browning was fired. But, when he asks is that the best news, another voice says "I didn't do it". The tempature starts getting colder and there is a response Responses2. Weird low voice or sound while Chad is speaking Responses3. After 40 minutes, someone finally started turning the flash light on and off that was sitting on the desk next to Chad. Responses3. Another response ("I'm testing you") Response. Chad tells us that a lot of the men on the ship were 17 - 19 years of age. Sounds like a male says "I am twenty" Male. Voices. Sounds like "I want them out of here" and another voice responds Voices2.
I'm pretty shocked at how many evp's we got in that room. I left a lot out where you could here the voice but not understand what it was saying.
Chad took us a few places off the beaten path. We walked through the torpedo berthing where a lot of women tend to have experiences. We left and I didn't turn off my recorder and I get some voices. This one sounds like "I'm thirsty", "keep it down". Voices3. "Go up there, shhhh". Voices4. There's a lot of males voices conversing while we're walking and talking. I'll put this one up. I did the best I could cleaning it up. Sounds like "right, now...."I don't have the answer". "It's okay". "Okay, I'll get an answer...". "Okay, this is the right way to do it". All speculation of course.... Voices5
So, we're near the scullery and Chad is telling us a story about how one of the ghost shows got the story wrong about this area. When he's first speaking, another male voice speaks. As Chad continues you hear that male voice again. Male Voices. He then says that the story wasn't true and there's a voice. Voice. Here is the remaining story and you can hear several comments being made by a male spirits. Voices.
We move on to the mess hall. As soon as we get in there and Chad is explaining typical happenings (don't have to listen to this one, just pointing out how many male voices are going on behind his talking Chatter), and there is a bunch of male voices whispering. I can't understand what they are saying though. Males. At the end, sounds like it says "Look for me, Paul". Voice. I ask them to make a noise. Voice. I do get a hello (this is from recorder in adjacent room Hello. I did get a no when I asked if they were in the fight. Someone says "don't look at me" Look. It's just an insane amount of whispering going on. Here, someone says fantastic.Voices2. There's a flurry of activity when someone walks back to where they hear noises. Voices3. As soon as she goes over there, it's silent for a while. Then, I think I hear something. It almost sounds like at the end he says "that was me" People.
We went to a place that they don't visit very much. It originally was a medical ward during World War II and later, when they turned the recovery into a mess hall. You could get ice cream in there.
At first there wasn't a lot of activity but then I finally started getting voices. Here is the first clear voice. Don't. I say I'm still waiting for my ice cream and sounds like he says take it out twice. Takeout. I didn't post all the whispering. You can understand some of what is said here. First, I think he says lean back on one (this is right after people feel like they are seeing movement). Then, it says we don't need a check. And lastly, I'll stand at the wall. Wall.
We then went to the brig area. I did not go down to the brig. I stayed up at the top of the stairs by myself. I did get some voices though. Brig.
We then went to sickbay. Chad is telling a story and it sounds like after someone says eleven there is a male whisper that says miss. Chad continues and a female is saying so this is.... and sounds like the same voice saying miss again. Male. Right in the beginning someone is talking and behind it there is a voice that says what's the status (right around where you hear 2 knocks). Then, someone laughs and it sounds like he says it is cold. Then says, come on in. There are 2 more whispers later on the clip. Right after Chad says if anyone wants to sleep in here it sounds like someone says too wimpy. At the end sounds like take a nap (which is interesting cause someone had just laid down on a bunk). Voices. There were a few more whispers after that I didn't post. I'm laughing because I was talking about how scared I was sleeping by myself on the ship Male. So far, way more activity then I usually get. This is interesting. I cut it off cause it got to faint. The female sounding voice sounds like it says there is a tumor. Voices3. I ask what your name. Response. I take the ovilus out and first three words are "we're" "leaving" "quarantine". I get an evp right after which says we're leaving eventually. Leaving. Then we get the word well. There are some whispering on top of us speaking but can't get what he's saying. Here's another response (you should be helpful?). Response2. First word is louder Voice. This has several responses. First it says something like don't you ever and after I say Tim it's sounds like the word attention. Then someone says 10-4. Male Voices. It started talking about a fire (the quarantine/burn room is right next to us). Response. Another voice Male. Male2. This one is creepy. You can hear that someone starts to say something then it almost sounds like a breathing machine or someone suddenly breathing heavy. I don't hear it in any other clip before or after. Than some guy says give me my baby. Baby. Ask them to say something to impress me and I get an okay. After that, a few strange responses. Voices. Voices2. People were starting to fall asleep so we figured it was best to move on lol.
We move onto the Torpedo Berthing. Chad tells us about a few incidents in there and I do get some voices. Male . Sounds like he says keep it Keep. There's a lot of talking on top of Chad telling the story. I just didn't include it all cause I can't understand what they are saying.
We then go to go to the CPO mess hall. i don't think I've ever gotten a response in here on tape. There is a table set up in there in honor of those who died. There some whispering and then I got this. There is this staccato voice sounds almost like do you remember when ...... tempted or tended you. Voice. Another response Responses Chad then proceeds to talk some smack about the Navy and there is some whispering responses. I just can't understand them. But then, I might not be 100% sure he's cursing in this one (warning), but you can definitely tell he's not happy about the army joke that proceeded it. There's a separate voice at the end and I'm not sure what it says. Mad. Here's some more responses right after that. Males. Chad starts another joke and it sounds like someone says he's gotta let it go, okay. The responses continue. Response. More Response2. Response3. They had asked a question about touching us and someone says they are navy, and sounds like a male says something. Male. Someone asks them if they want to play the touching game again and it almost sounds like someone says come here I'll touch ya. Voice. I ask them if I bring the ovilus out will they talk with it. I wish this was more clear. But, basically, it says we don't know... then louder we don't know what it is. Voice2. Someone ask what they liked to do and they ask him if he liked going to bars and the flashlight came on. I repeat what the ovilus said and someone shouts something. Shout. Then, it sounds like he said that means nothing to me. Nothing. We're laughing cause some times you can't understand the Ovilus but I do have an lcd that shows the word and a voice says something. Voice. I ask if he's 18 and the light came on. Then, the ovilus said bar. One of the ladies say that guys were buying her drinks last night. The ovilus says magic. Then it says rhythm. She is talking about karoake. After some other questions, she mentions the bar again and it repeats the word magic. I do get an evp but I can't understand what he says. I say you're such a smooth talker and the flashlight goes off. She says, oh I have to tell my husband that. She says an 18 yr old sailor is hitting on his wife and the ovilus says "necessary". Then it says "tease". That got a big laugh. Then it said "big". Chad is responding to a question and it sounds like a spirit says "why can't you believe".
We then took a break and we went to the foscle with Heidi's group. I was getting nothing. So, I turned on the ovilus. Heidi asks if they can say their name. I do get some whispering. I believe it says, "independent". Then, "they just don't know", a "what", then "you're not strong", "they don't know nothing from me". Here is both recorders. Again, listen on headphones. You have to when it's not class A. Chatter1. Chatter2.
We then go up to the bunks adjacent to the foscle. Someone did commit suicide there. But, I got nothing.
Wow, to bad I didn't get many evp's this time around......NOT. As usual the hornet didn't disappoint. It takes me weeks to get through all the evps. Sometimes, I have to listen to a specific recording in different sound programs. I make my husband listen lol (if he had a nickle for every time I said, "BABE, come here".) You really get used to listening closely and telling what is phonetic speech and what is movement or someone in the room. If I'm not sure, I discount it.

U.S.S. Hornet 10/28/11
Hi Everyone,
I had an opportunity to volunteer again at the Hornet. We had 100 guests; big crowd! Susan was the docent for our group. And we had a fun time!
Our first stop was the mess hall. It's one of my favorite spots on the ship. As far as physical sounds, it was way quieter than the last time I was there. With a big group, sometimes it's hard to do noise control. There were people whispering most of the night, so I had to separate people from spirit, which can be very challenging.
We did get some fainter responses, but I didn't include everything here. Usually, I try to give you as much as possible so you can make up your own mind and see the differences between the quality.
There were some temp drops in the room and people were feeling some things. We did get this response. It sounds like someone says Tilson go back, into the mess (I used two recorders and this one was near the elevator they used for transporting nukes and not actually in the mess hall where we were all sitting). I had my RTEVP on the table next to me, but I got nothing. Then I asked if they died on the Hornet and it sounds like a voice says Tilson, tell them and then there is kind of a weird breathy sing songy response. And then there's one more response again it say Tilson and sounds like a breathy yeah response. Male Voice. On the recorder that I had in the room with me, I did get this (people were getting cold at the time). It's hard to hear but sounds something like Lt. James Decosto, Decoste or something like that Lt. So, didn't get as much activity as usual in there. People were feeling like something didn't want us in there but I never felt that and there was nothing on tape that indicated that either. Who knows?
We then went to the catapult room. There are some voices in this clip. There's a yeah and I think when I ask the rank he says private. Voices
This one sounds like he says I'm not returning home. Thank You
We got a name. It sounds like J.R. Blackmon then someone says here. JR1
I ask if they can touch us or whisper and someone says No very clearly. No

We then left the catapult room and there is this area that was an elevator for nukes. I've never done a session in there so a few of us sat in there while the rest went down to the brig. I had to discount most of the things I heard there because people were talking and whispering (when in doubt, throw it out). But, we did get someone to turn the flashlight on and off. And it took a bit to turn it. We didn't make it really easy.
We then all went into the foscle. At first, once we all settled, someone was playing with our flashlight. Someone asked if it was the chaplain turn it on and it did go on. I asked if you died on the ship can you turn the light on and it went on. So, someone was interacting with us.
It was hard going over the audio in there cause people were whispering and the sound carries. I had to discount alot. The K2 meters were going off. And we were trying to communicate with them. But as far as evp's were concerned, there was just too much talking and noise so it was a bust. These are the only ones that I think might be legit. No Taps
This is from the ready room. We had some K2 activity. Unfortunately, there was again way to much talking. Although we seemed to have some temp changes, there was no communication via recorder, touching, or knocking. And it might have been the table. Since afterwards, they noticed that when they picked it up it the temp moved up. So, that may have been debunked.
We then went to the admirals quarters. There are a few rooms in that area plus a bedroom. I left a recorder in the bedroom, but got nothing on it. We were asking a lot of question and getting K2 responses at the admirals table. Here is one. Response. Here is the next question after that. Brothers
The next room was one of the other mess halls and I got nothing conclusive.
I got to go to a part of the ship that I wouldn't normally get to see. On our way there, we stopped in the sickbay (which was closed to visitors due to it being decorated for Halloween). The docent told a few stories of some recent activity and towards the end there were some interesting responses. Right after he gets off his radio, this is heard . Male. Then, you hear a voice whispering on top of people speaking in the room. Almost sounds like heah Becker, arrest me. Becker Then we walked to another area and got this (can't make out first word but 2nd is collector and then someone says Lancaster). Lancaster We walked to another are and there is something I can't understand before this. But, I don't think he's responding to me. I think he's responding to someone in the other room. Because it sounds like he whispers, that is the thrust. Thrust Here are some interesting voices. Sounds like Arnie, don't you hear that, and start the main pump. Voices Some more voices. Clarence. It's hard to hear because the docent is talking. There's only one guy in the room besides him and he was not talking. Voices2 Male voice. Male The docent is telling a story and someone says can I help in the beginning and then loudly sounds like she don't know. Voices I'm Happy Happy.
This is interesting. I had my recorder on and listening with headphones as the docent was talking. And I kept hearing all these voices under his voice. Voices At this time I'm facing this door and there is a lady standing in front of it. I heard the voice and few seconds later, the lady says it feels like something poked her. Then, I see a foot coming down out of there and as I see this and as I'm telling everyone, there are voices in the background. I said hello, and someone says hello back. Hello
And that's all folks. The Hornet always seems to deliver. If you haven't been there, I encourage you to go!!

USS Hornet EVP's 7/22/11
Hello Everyone,
I had the opportunity to volunteer at the USS Hornet again. As usual, it didn't disappoint! I'm having some computer problems so haven't made the you tube file yet. Hopefully I can get that out by Tuesday night!
Mo led our wonderful all girl group! All the groups met in the wardroom for a seance. I did see some shadows. A few other people did as well.
And for a side note, the Paranormal Challenge tv show actually filmed there about 2 weeks before.
I don't think I've ever gotten this many evp's. It was definitely hopping at the hornet.
For the seance, I didn't get alot. There were a lot of shadows seen though. Here is a knock and a male voice. I can't tell what he says but it sounds like a sentence. Sounds like he has a slight accent. You be the judge. Knocks.
Our group then went to the foscle. There was a lot of movement coming from the back of the room and through a passageway. Mo sees a white flash and tells the spirit to show themselves again and you hear a male voice say yes ma'am as well as a hello at the end. Yes. I ask what is your rank and a male answers. Voice. So, there is a lot of moving around in this clip and a high pitch noise. We have no idea who is doing it. Also, at the very end there is a male voice but I can't tell what he's saying (maybe yes). Move.
We went down into the brig and then the catapult room which are near each other.
Admiral's Room - Well, we got some play on the K2 meter; some responses to our questions. I finally got an evp in that room. It sounds like he says captain and then there are some sounds and a strange noise. Captain. I believed we asked the spirit if it could knock and a long time passes and there is a male voice that responds with Yes. Also, it sounds like a hello comes in at the end Yes. We moved to another area next door that has a table. We played around with the flashlight, K2 meters, and the frank box. On the frank box, I don't think this was speaking through the box but the voice was in the room. None of us heard this. But, it sounds like a female saying just me. JustMe. I asked if they died on the ship and a male says No. No.
Catapult Room - Last time I didn't get anything in this room. We were chatting about some of the large cannisters in the room that had the words vodka, whiskey, etc on them. I made a joke about going out to my car to take a swig and Mo was wondering why I didn't share. Female voices whisphers let her. Apparently, the spirits wanted me to share with Mo cause they seem irritated with me lol. Share. It almost sounds like the male voice says me too at the end.
We went to the mess hall next, but I'm saving that for last. Sick bay had some crazy action as well. We started out using the ovilus and got a bunch of feedback. We got this feedback (male voice sounds like he says Oh My God). OhMyGod. We entered the sick bay and I sat at a desk and most other people sat on the bunks. Mo ended up standing in front of the desk. We were asking for responses by knocking. Here is the first one along with a voice who says a sentence but I can't make it out. KnockVoice. At one point the knock was more like a bang that scared everyone. GiantKnock. Of course, right after that Mo moved away from me and everyone else wanted nothing to do with me. lol. I was abandoned by my crew. So, of course I kept asking questions. Here are some more voices. This one sounds like he's saying 1962. Voice. Here is that same file with me taking out some noise VoiceAlt. Here's some weird voices and a no in there. Voices. Here is a no. No. And you can't have a no without a yes right? This is one creepy yes! Yes.
I saved the best for last. The mess hall was just ridiculous. There is so much conversation going on. And it's none of us. The knocking was even crazy. I had to 2 different recorders on. Unfortunately, the one that got most of the voices, I sat it up on this machine and there's a bunch of ambient noise. But, you can still hear the voices. We started off talking to Larry in the skullery. He was very noisy. Banging. I ask some questions and there's some kind of whispery response and then I ask them to knock and he "snaps" back. Snaps. I get a yes response. Yes. Mo tries to get them to snap back. They do but then it sounds like someone is turning on a faucet. Faucet.
I have several other just whispery voices or background chatter I didn't post. I didn't want to be redundant. This kind of sounds like he said Heidi (she is a crew person). Heidi Here's some whisering and noises. whispers
This next one is kind of crazy. I have the original and then I tried to cut out some of the extra noise. Original Basically, I hear someone repeating the word sickbay. Mo says what and then the spirit whispers mommy. Someone says, did you just say something and the spirit says Yes I did. Then almost seems like it says put your lighters on. A few times there's a voice whispering overtop of our talking. Altered Then, we got a male voice that I think says angel Angel Here's that altered. AngelAlt There were some more voices I got over and around us talking but I couldn't understand what was being said so I left it out. This next one, there are several responses. At the end seems like someone says fire engines Various I got a few other ones I'm not going to post. A lot of moving around and someone making noise in the back kitchen. This last one is weird. You can hear someone whispering loudly over us talking in the middle then at the end someone whispers you guys stop it (hard to hear the stop it but it's there) and it wasn't one of us. StopIt
So, as you can see, the hornet was buzzing that night. I don't think I've ever been there when it was so active physically and vocally.

We moved to another area next door that has a table. We played around with the flashlight, K2 meters, and the frank box. On the frank box, I don't think this was speaking through the box but the voice was in the room. None of us heard this. But, it sounds like a female saying just me. JustMe. I asked if they died on the ship and a male says No. No.
Catapult Room - Last time I didn't get anything in this room. We were chatting about some of the large cannisters in the room that had the words vodka, whiskey, etc on them. I made a joke about going out to my car to take a swig and Mo was wondering why I didn't share. Female voices whisphers let her. Apparently, the spirits wanted me to share with Mo cause they seem irritated with me lol. Share. It almost sounds like the male voice says me too at the end.
We went to the mess hall next, but I'm saving that for last. Sick bay had some crazy action as well. We started out using the ovilus and got a bunch of feedback. We got this feedback (male voice sounds like he says Oh My God). OhMyGod. We entered the sick bay and I sat at a desk and most other people sat on the bunks. Mo ended up standing in front of the desk. We were asking for responses by knocking. Here is the first one along with a voice who says a sentence but I can't make it out. KnockVoice. At one point the knock was more like a bang that scared everyone. GiantKnock. Of course, right after that Mo moved away from me and everyone else wanted nothing to do with me. lol. I was abandoned by my crew. So, of course I kept asking questions. Here are some more voices. This one sounds like he's saying 1962. Voice. Here is that same file with me taking out some noise VoiceAlt. Here's some weird voices and a no in there. Voices. Here is a no. No. And you can't have a no without a yes right? This is one creepy yes! Yes.
I saved the best for last. The mess hall was just ridiculous. There is so much conversation going on. And it's none of us. The knocking was even crazy. I had to 2 different recorders on. Unfortunately, the one that got most of the voices, I sat it up on this machine and there's a bunch of ambient noise. But, you can still hear the voices. We started off talking to Larry in the skullery. He was very noisy. Banging. I ask some questions and there's some kind of whispery response and then I ask them to knock and he "snaps" back. Snaps. I get a yes response. Yes. Mo tries to get them to snap back. They do but then it sounds like someone is turning on a faucet. Faucet.
I have several other just whispery voices or background chatter I didn't post. I didn't want to be redundant. This kind of sounds like he said Heidi (she is a crew person). Heidi Here's some whisering and noises. whispers
This next one is kind of crazy. I have the original and then I tried to cut out some of the extra noise. Original Basically, I hear someone repeating the word sickbay. Mo says what and then the spirit whispers mommy. Someone says, did you just say something and the spirit says Yes I did. Then almost seems like it says put your lighters on. A few times there's a voice whispering overtop of our talking. Altered Then, we got a male voice that I think says angel Angel Here's that altered. AngelAlt There were some more voices I got over and around us talking but I couldn't understand what was being said so I left it out. This next one, there are several responses. At the end seems like someone says fire engines Various I got a few other ones I'm not going to post. A lot of moving around and someone making noise in the back kitchen. This last one is weird. You can hear someone whispering loudly over us talking in the middle then at the end someone whispers you guys stop it (hard to hear the stop it but it's there) and it wasn't one of us. StopIt
So, as you can see, the hornet was buzzing that night. I don't think I've ever been there when it was so active physically and vocally.

USS Hornet 4/2/2011
Hello All,
I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer on the U.S.S. Hornet again. It was a beautiful warm day so the ship wasn't as cold as it was in the winter. Heidi & I led a group around the ship. It was a pretty quiet night compared to other nights, but I still got some responses (more than I thought). You can also listen to them all on youtube.
First, we went to the war room. We got a series of knocks Knock. Knock2Knock3.
Then, I asked what the rank was and got a great response. Rank. I think he says crewman.
Heidi asks are there more than one of you there and it sounds like someone says look back. Then there are some knocks. Lookback. Then we got a Hi. Hi Then a knock and a heah. Heah. Some more knocks and a No! Knock4 Knock5 No
The foscle area has these giant chains. There are stories that someone hung themselves in there as well as some accidents. We thought it was pretty quiet.
There was a lot of sounds and knocks. Here we got a yes. Yes A second yes to a question. Yes2. A noise. Noise. There is some noise and whispering in this clip and someone repeats the word Christmas. Christmas. Here's another response Voice.
We didn't have much luck in the admiral room. We did seem to get a yes in the sickbay. Yeah.
Ok, so the Mess hall was interesting. After first question, there's a yeah or here and then Jeff says, "My name's Jeff" and you sounds like someone whispers I'm ..... Then I say did you get a bloody nose and I think it sounds like it's cold (a voice - not mechanical but I can't be 100% sure). MessHall. The voices talking are in the next room. here's a heah. MessHeah. There's also this voice I can't make out what they are saying though. MessVoice.
So, I did sleep over that night. It was pretty crazy. We finished around 3 am. I was in this back room all by myself towards the middle of the ship. Most of the rest of the teams were in the sickbay or crew bunks. The other staff were in private rooms as well. I have to admit, I had to go to the bathroom on the way there and had another staff member walk me. It's pitch black and while I have a flashlight, it's spooky. I got back to my room and honestly, I started off with the light on and the suitcase propped up against the door cause the door didn't lock. I felt really jumpy so I was not getting any sleep. I finally just said screw it and turned the light off. It was so pitch black. I finally fell asleep and I had a nightmare. Someone was trying to get into the room and then I couldn't get out and we needed to evacuate the ship. Maybe I was making noise or something cause someone, in real life, yelled something in my ear and snapped me completely out of the dream. And mind you, I had earplugs on. Luckily, I didn't sit up and rolled out of the bed and turned on the light or else I would have totally hurt my head. I had the light on the rest of the night. The interesting thing is that the other women staff reported that they had nightmares too which is unusual for them.
I don't know if I'll sleep over again. I'm not sure. It was really really weird. Maybe if I sleep over next time, I'll sleep in the common areas with everyone else. I just don't like being touched or freaked out when I'm trying to sleep.
I love the Hornet. It never disappoints me. I always come home with evps and have a wonderful time. If you have been there and your in the Alameda area of California, you have got to check it out!.

USS Hornet Take Two
Hello everyone,
I had an opportunity to help out in an overnight event at the U.S.S. Hornet last night (2/4/11). As usual, I love the energy there and had a wonderful time meeting some very nice people.

We started off the night with a seance. There were about 30 people aboard plus some of the PZTV members and volunteers. Nancy of PZTV is leading the seance.
There is a faint response to Mo's comment and Nancy heard it. I can't really understand. I can guess and say it says like who. But, I just don't know. You be the judge. Response
We then get a few knocks on the table. Remember, all of our hands are flat on the table and our feet are on the floor. 1stKnocks
Two of the tables were moving. It was pretty cool. One of them moved significantly. Someone says woah as a response to the energy and then there is a voice. I can't understand but it almost sounds like a foreign language but couldn't find a word segunte. Voice
There's a weird sound underneath the voices in the beginning and then a loud noise which didn't appear loud if you look at the audio waveform. Noises
There's a lot going on in this clip. There's a whisper after you hear use our energy. I think it says Nancy. I will include the original and then the isolated and amplified version. Then at the end there is a whole sentence. Take the _ _ from off of the table. I couldn't quite make out the sentence but I included the isolated wave of that as well. We were in a room next to messhall. It was like a small kitchen area. I had 2 recorders out (the RT-EVP and a Sony digital). The Sony digital picked up nothing. But, the RT-EVP picked up some faint responses. Sounds like he said No to both the questions. No's
We then went back into the enlisted mess hall. There was a big fight in the food line that spilled out into that area and someone died there. I had both recorders running in two different place but not really far apart. I ask can you make a noise, the sony recorded louder so here it is MessYes. Then I asked are you still mad about the fight (sounds like same voice). Yes2. Someone says come and join us. Sounds like faintly trying to say alright and then says it a 2nd time louder. No's
Next to the mess hall is the elevator shaft. Someone died there. We got lots of K2 hits there. I ask what's your name and it sounds like someone says Whitmore.Name. I then ask what happened to you, we moved around and someone says heah. heah. Here's another response. Not sure what he is saying _ hope. Hope.
I had to discount a lot near the shaft because people were whispering to each other from time to time and I couldn't say for sure if it was spirit or people in the room talking. During the session near the shaft, we heard a chair move in the other room along with some weird noises. Noone was in that room. Chair After that, we left a few recorders in the elevator shaft area and went back into the mess hall. I didn't get anything on my recorder I took with me.
But, the one I left behind had this on it and it's really odd. I kept debating is that some conversation in the room. But, it's such a weird staccato on the voice that I'll put it out there. If someone was there and can dispute it let me know and I'll take it down. UPDATE: It has been verified that there was no Jack attending the overnight. So, it's legit. You hear a slight movement, a spirit says what's that and another spirit says wait don't say that shh shh shh shh shh shh and right before the last shh someone says Jack. I cannot hear it in my other recorder. The more I listen to it, the weirder it gets. It actually echoes the name Jack before he says Jack and then it stops echoing when he says it. Listen close. This is the weirdest evp. Jack
Next, we went to a war room. It was an WWII pilot briefing room initially and during the war they became supplemental planning rooms. A full apparition was seen in that room. I didn't get any evps in that room. We did experience a lot of temp changes. We then went to the original war room. There is an intelligence office next to it. I really didn't like the feeling in there. I also saw some movement in there and light while we were doing the evp session in the war room.
I got nothing in the admiral's room. We then went to the petty officers berthing room. I got this No
We headed to the brig. But, I didn't get anything there. We then went to the catapult room. It was very quiet. Someone saw some shadow play and yellow (which would be plane handlers) and there was a noise at one point but can't say it was paranormal. We were in the focsle and got a lot of K2 responses to question and caught this whistle. Noone in the room heard it. Whistle I think Pam or Nancy heard this same whistle before because I remember them telling me about it.

U.S.S. Hornet Investigation 1/14/11
Hello Everyone and Welcome to my blog!
Paranormal Zone TV investigators had a wonderful opportunity to investigate the U.S.S. Hornet with so many wonderful investigators and paranormal enthusiasts Friday night.
Guests included:
Brig. I didn't get much in the brig. But, here is what we did get Brig. Shave and a haircut (first time 2 quick knocks). Second time, 1 knock. Then, someone says I'd be mad too if I were down here and there is a loud exhale.
Here is the link to some photo files of orbs. Orbs are pretty controversial (especially with digital cameras). So, I give them as information only. Make of them what you will. I didn't take alot of pictures.

It was awesome pulling up to the pier and seeing such a huge and magnificent ship.
We all met up and shared some food provided by Norene, and after some technical difficulties getting the live feed up, we were ready to go.
I found myself a group and we headed off with our head docent Chad (I can't remember the name of our other lovely docent). I don't know that I'll ever get used to the tiny steep steps. I can't imagine running up and down them every day. I was sore the next day. NOTE: When you click on a link it will replace the page with the audio file. Catapult room - Upon entering this room, I became very queasy (as did a few others). It was really a weird vibe. I knew we were going to get some great evp's and it didn't disappoint. I gave the main recording and then isolated responses so that you can really here it clearly.
Catapult - I ask, did you get hurt in here? You can't tell but there is a lower yes first and then a louder yes which several of us heard. Here is the 2 yes responses by themselves (much easier to hear) YesI ask what's your name and there is this real weird sing songy voice which I can't make out. I say is there anyone in here right now (there was a brief interruption before that with people entering the room). Then there is a clink and a deeper male voice saying hello. I isolated the hello. Hello. I then ask Do you NOT want us here? And there is a distinct No. Here is the isolated No. Later I do ask how many people are here and there is a soft whisper that says one. I didn't include that in the findings because it was so faint. Overall, we got some great responses.We went to the sleeping quarters. I got nothing, but at one point someone gets a migraine and feels light headed. Also, I was standing up and felt like some was behind me and Crash was sitting on the floor next to me and said someone just touched my back. On the catwalk, I did really feel like someone was in the room but we got nothing. It was kind of hard cause there were people in the next room and everyone was a bit chatty, so I had to rule out some things.
The next one I think was in the anchor room. I didn't have much time so it was a quickie. Supposedly, someone hung themselves in this one area (where I was sitting) and there have been light anomalies. I asked can you knock on something? Anchor Here is the isolated No AnchorNo
Then I ask Can you make a noise? And I get a response. He says Energy. Here is the isolated file. Energy. You know at first, I just wasn't sure what he was saying and then it clicked. I asked him to knock he says no and then I say can you make a noise and he is telling me no because he needs energy to do it. Awesome!
Mess Hall - Chad told me that there was a big fight in the mess hall. I believe someone was killed and it was bloody (there was a bloody nose involved) and lots of people got bloody noses in there. Of course, I said cool and immediately went in there by myself and asked questions (lol). There is someone at the elevator shaft right next to the hall doing their own investigation and lots of talking in the middle, so unfortunately, I had to rule a lot of stuff out. There was a lot of talking underneath it all (seems really far away), but since it was so muffled I left it out. I really wish I could have had complete silence for this. Here is the whole file Mess Hall. I asked did someone make your nose bleed and interestingly enough,there is a mechanical sounding voice saying nose bleed. I did get some other responses. I'll leave it up to you to decide what you hear. I got several no's but most of it, I can't make out.
Here's a small response from the sickbay containment room. She says we want to help you and you hear a thank you. Sickbay.
Here's another one in a think a different sickbay. She asks is your name Brian? You hear a Yes. Sickroom.
The surgery room - Well, didn't get much from this room. Someone asks when is your work done and there's this weird whistling noise that lots of people in the room heard. Surgery.
